Particles at the end of a sentence change the “tone” or feel of the statement.

The か Particle

Used to turn a sentence into a question.

()くか?Are you going?
()べるか?Will you eat?
本当(ほんとう)か?Is it true?

The ね Particle

Used to seek agreement or confirmation, similar to “right?” or “isn’t it?”.

(あつ)いね。It's hot, isn't it?
おいしいね。It's delicious, isn't it?
今日(きょう)(いそが)しいね。Today is busy, isn't it?

The よ Particle

Used to add emphasis or give new information. It gives a sense of “I’m telling you this”.

明日(あした)だよ。It is tomorrow, you know.
これはおいしいよ。This is delicious, you know.
()かったよ。I got it! / I understand!

The よね Particle

A combination of both. It emphasizes a fact but also seeks agreement.

それは(ちが)うよね。That is wrong, right?
明日(あした)(やす)みだよね。Tomorrow is a day off, right?
この映画(えいが)面白(おもしろ)いよね。This movie is interesting, isn't it?
