Sentence-ending Particles

Particles at the end of a sentence change the “tone” or feel of the statement.
The か Particle
Used to turn a sentence into a question.
行くか? - Are you going?
食べるか? - Will you eat?
本当か? - Is it true?
The ね Particle
Used to seek agreement or confirmation, similar to “right?” or “isn’t it?”.
暑いね。 - It's hot, isn't it?
おいしいね。 - It's delicious, isn't it?
今日は忙しいね。 - Today is busy, isn't it?
The よ Particle
Used to add emphasis or give new information. It gives a sense of “I’m telling you this”.
明日だよ。 - It is tomorrow, you know.
これはおいしいよ。 - This is delicious, you know.
分かったよ。 - I got it! / I understand!
The よね Particle
A combination of both. It emphasizes a fact but also seeks agreement.
それは違うよね。 - That is wrong, right?
明日は休みだよね。 - Tomorrow is a day off, right?
この映画は面白いよね。 - This movie is interesting, isn't it?
