To say that you do not do something, you conjugate the verb into its negative form.

Ru-verbs

Drop る and add ない.

Change the last vowel from an う sound to an あ sound, and add ない.

Non-Existence

The verb for existence of inanimate objects is ある. Its negative is NOT あらない, but simply ない.

Examples

(ほん)がない。There is no book.
時間(じかん)がない。There is no time.
(かね)がない。There is no money.
