だけあって (As expected of)

Used when a result matches the high expectation derived from a reason.

さすが、プロだけあってうまい。 - As expected of a pro, he's skillful.
高いだけあって、おいしい。 - As you'd expect from something expensive, it's delicious.
日本人だけあって、日本語が上手だ。 - As expected of a Japanese person, their Japanese is good.

ばかり (Nothing but / Just)

Used to express that there is so much of something, or one does nothing but that action.

ゲームばかりしている。 - He does nothing but play games.
文句ばかり言う。 - They do nothing but complain.
食べてばかりいる。 - They're always just eating.

Just finished

今、着いたばかりだ。 - I just arrived.
始めたばかりです。 - I just started.
買ったばかりなのに壊れた。 - It broke even though I just bought it.
